Hi friends and family! I hope you're having a wonderful and restful summer, as well as enjoying lots of time with family and loved ones! The summer is a bit more slowed down, and I'm grateful for more time to slow down and reflect on my thankfulness for those around me, and especially for each of you partnering with me! Staff planning days! We had two staff planning days a few weeks ago to start going over all the planning for our ministry this fall. This includes conversations over changes we wanna make in the ministry, what events we'll do for our welcome weeks (week long campus events that are put on for the new and returning students to learn about our ministry), things that worked well, and maybe didn't etc. It was really thoughtful that our director Ryan (very left) found fun coffee shops for us to meet in for these meetings to make the long planning days a bit more fun, and we got to grab dinner together, and visit different shops in Dallas to further bond as a...
